Useful information
Homework packs will be given at the start of each term. Children can achieve Bronze, Silver or Gold homework certificates depending on how much they do over the term.
Children can choose which task they would like to complete from the grid. I would like Learning Journals in on Fridays so I can review their progress and keep on track of the points.
Y4 have swimming on Tuesdays, they will need to bring their swimsuits, a towel and wear a swimming cap. All jewellery must be taken out. They are allowed to wear goggles. Goggles and swimming caps can be purchased at the pool.
P.E is on Tuesday afternoons, they will need to bring trainers, shorts, jogging bottoms or leggings and a T-shirt.
Spelling is tested on Fridays. The children will take home their new list of spellings on a Friday as well as a handwriting sheet which they can practise their spelling and handwriting on at the same time. It is advised the children spend 5-10 minutes revising their spellings 2-3 times a week so they can be well prepared for the test on Fridays.
