Welcome back!We hope you've had a fantastic Christmas Holiday and are ready to start the New Year!
Our exciting topic this term is...
Ancient Egypt!
An overview of the work that we will be covering during the next few weeks can be found below on our Spring Newsletter.
We shall be adding links to useful websites and photographs of our work as the term progresses.
A few important things to remember are...
P.E. kits should be brought on a Monday to be available at school all week and taken home on a Friday to wash. This means that if we decide to reschedule P.E. lessons because of poor weather, the children will still have the kit that they need.
Tuck Money is 50p a week ( 10p a day) and can be brought in on a Monday. This provides your child with a biscuit and juice each morning break and is of course optional.
The children will bring home a reading book and record book. Please feel free to comment in the record book. Your child will be given the opportunity to change their reading book each week as necessary. We have a school library from which the children can borrow books for their enjoyment.
Spellings to learn will be given out by Mrs Jones and tested on Fridays.
The chidren will also have received a list of suggested tasks for their learning journals. We know how much they enjoy working on these and sharing them with others in class.
