Autumn Term: 2009-2010

Autumn Term

 

This term Class Four have been on a journey of discovery around the world. In the first half of the term they found out about Australia and have created some amazing pieces of Aboriginal artwork. They have also gone back in time to find out about the Anglo Saxons and how and why they came to Britain over 1500 years ago!

Until Christmas their journey will take them to India and we will be creating stories and poems based in India. We will also be sampling some Indian recipes, finding out what happens in Divali celebrations and trying our hand at Indian dancing!

We will be learning guitar until the end of this school year so look out for some sound clips of our practice!

Towards the end of the term we will of course be getting ready for Christmas so prepare for some fabulous Christmas crafts!
