2K MATHS CHALLENGE WEEK 14th - 18th March 2011: 2010-2011
This week we have been set a maths challenge. We had to pick a job thinking about pay, qualifications, attributes needed, holidays and working hours. We were then given a status which was either: single; single with one child; married no children; married with one child or married with two children. After that we were given a choice of houses to pick from. We had to pick the one that best suited our needs and price range.
We will now complete lots of challenges based on our character and their annual income, such as: planning a night in/out; buying a school uniform; planning a trip to a wedding, including buying the outfit and gift; decorating a room; buying the shopping and working out the calorie and fat content in our family meals.
