Welcome to the Nursery Class Page

We are a busy, happy class where our children are encouraged to have fun, explore, ask questions and create. We hope you enjoy browsing through the photographs on our Gallery.

Please ensure that all clothes have your child's name on them, especially jumpers, cardigans and coats. Shoes can be named inside the sole. It is so much easier to find the owner of lost property when it is labelled clearly.  Your child will need two sets of spare clothes (including socks, underwear, shoes and nappies/wipes if needed)  to leave in a bag on their peg in case they need to change during the day.

We would be grateful for a donation of 50p a week towards the cost of snack. This can be brought in at the start of each weekSnack includes a selection of fruit and vegetables such as apples, pears, bananas, oranges, tomatoes and carrots. We also have yoghurts, biscuits and crackers and cheese.

Milk and water is available to the children throughout the day so they will not need to bring their own water bottles to school. Please encourage your child to leave toys at home.

Your child will choose a book to take home to share with you each Monday. Please  complete the reading record book and return the books on Friday so that we can prepare the library for next week.

If there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to catch one of the teachers at the door at the start or end of the day. If you feel that you need a longer chat, then the office will be able to arrange an appointment at a more convenient time.
