Summer Term - Rise of the Robots
Summer Term 2013
This terms topic is 'Rise of the Robots'. We will be experimenting with circuits and conductors in science, and will be reading the book 'Iron Man' by Ted Hughes.
The children will learn the history of robotics and about the lives of some great inventors in our world (past and present). We will use Design Technology skills to plan and create our own robots with moving parts, computer programming skills to create our own games, simulations and animations and will study artists who have been inspired by robots such as Eric Joyner and Karl Egenberger.
