• Non Uniform Day

  The last day of term, Friday 22nd December, will be a non-uniform day. The children can come to school in their Christmas jumpers if they wish. Please note that we will NOT be asking for a voluntary donation of money for this

• Christmas Fair 2017

  Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fair yesterday.   We made a fantastic £771:02!!   The raffle will be drawn today and any prizes won will be sent home with the children.  Events like this show that we’re part of an amazing community

  

• Book Fair

  We have arranged for a half price Scholastic Book Fair to be held in school on Monday 27th November until Thursday 30th November from 3.15pm-3.45pm each day.  Please call in to view the books on offer - all books purchased will help towards new books for our school library.  Thank you in advance for your support.

• House Team Flags

  We're very proud of our house teams: Skirlaw, Hatfield, Wolsey and Flambard and we recently designed flags which represent our Prince Bishop and our team's qualities.  We have a house assembly every week to celebrate our achievements.

  

• Children In Need Day

  Wow, wow, wow! Thank you so much to all of our amazing parents and children for their kindness and generosity. These donations will be a huge help to many families in need. This will all be donated to the food bank at Shildon Alive, so it goes directly to families in our local community. Thank you again

• CHILDREN IN NEED DAY

  We will be supporting Children in Need again this year on Friday 17th November. For a small donation, your child can come to school wearing something spotty. Usually we ask for a small donation of money, but this year we are asking for a donation of food. One of our parents has had the fantastic idea of donating food to a local food bank. Your child can bring their food in with them on Friday, and we will collect it all and take it to a local food bank to help people in the local community. Non-perishables such as tins, jars or packets are ideal.

• Christmas Production

  Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 are delighted to announce that our Christmas performance will be 'Lights, Camel, Action!' The performance will take place at 9.45am on Tuesday 19th December. Your child may have already been given words to take home to learn, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could practise these with them. If your child has not been given a speaking part don't worry- they will have a singing or dancing role. Every child in the Lower School will be involved. Rehearsals will begin after half term. We can't wait!

  Tomorrow,  PB children will celebrate International Day in their house teams.  They can wear a t-shirt/top in the colour of their house.
